Padova Urbs Picta is the official app dedicated to Padua's 14th-century frescoes: a journey through time to discover the masterpieces of Giotto and other artists from that era, which have turned the city into an invaluable treasure trove of art and culture.
Discover eight UNESCO heritage sites: Giotto and the Scrovegni Chapel, the Church of the Eremitani, Palazzo della Ragione, the Carraresi Palace Chapel, the Cathedral Baptistery, the Basilica and Monastery of Saint Anthony, and the Oratories of St. George and St. Michael.
Each site features ten content pieces: texts are accompanied by reference images. You can choose to read or listen to audio tracks, even in Autoplay mode. If something is unclear, consult the glossary!
Track your activity completion via the Journal and earn culture points! Collect badges and take the Quiz to discover your medieval Beast and enjoy a story inspired by Padua’s history during that period.
Plan your visit! The app lets you contact museum receptionists directly and browse their websites. Use the Map feature and activate Google Maps geolocation to explore these locations easily.
