Kaiju No. 8 The Game accueille Soshiro Hoshina en tant que nouveau personnage jouable 5 étoiles. Cette apparition dans le jeu suit son rôle capital dans l'épisode 22 de l'anime, diffusé en premier le 20 septembre.
