Le modder xoxor4d a publié un mod de compatibilité révolutionnaire qui améliore Left 4 Dead 2 avec la technologie avancée de Path Tracing RTX. Ce mod s'intègre parfaitement avec RTX Remix, permettant des effets de lancer de rayons sophistiqués sans modifier ni mettre à jour les ressources du jeu.

Bien que la plupart des objets du jeu reposent sur le pipeline à fonction fixe conventionnel, ce mod introduit un éclairage dynamique et des reflets réalistes grâce au Path Tracing. Bien qu'il manque de textures PBR et puisse présenter de légers artefacts visuels, le mod améliore considérablement la qualité visuelle du jeu.
