Nintendo a finalement dévoilé le très attendu Nintendo Switch 2, et avec lui, la sortie passionnante de Mario Kart 9. Les fans ont rapidement remarqué une refonte significative d'un personnage, Donkey Kong, qui semble être inspiré par son apparition dans le film Super Mario Bros.

La bande-annonce de Mario Kart 9 a présenté plus d'une douzaine de personnages, dont la plupart sont apparus comme les fans s'attendaient.
