Laissez commencer la chasse aux démons! Netflix a déclenché l'adaptation des anime de la série de jeux vidéo bien-aimée, Devil May Cry, et les fans sont en train de régler avec une bande-annonce fraîchement publiée. Mais l'excitation ne s'arrête pas là - l'acteur de voix légendaire Kevin Conroy, connu pour sa représentation emblématique de Batman, prêtera à titre posthume sa voix à la série en tant que VP Baines, un nouveau personnage présenté dans l'ouverture de la bande-annonce.

Conroy, décédé en novembre 2022 à l'âge de 66 ans, a été salué pour sa performance finale dans Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3, publié en juillet 2024. Les fans ont désormais une autre occasion de profiter de son talent remarquable dans cette nouvelle adaptation. Le casting comprend également le Scout Taylor-Coompton comme Mary, Hoon Lee comme White Rabbit, Chris Coppola comme Enzo et Johnny Yong Bosch exprimant le protagoniste, Dante.

Selon le synopsis officiel de Netflix, "les forces sinistres sont en jeu pour ouvrir le portail entre les royaumes humains et démons. Au milieu de tout cela se trouve Dante, un chasseur de démons orphelin.

Adi Shankar, connu pour son travail sur des films comme Dredd, les tuant doucement et les voix, servira de showrunner pour Devil May Cry. Shankar est également attaché à une prochaine adaptation d'Assassin's Creed, bien que sa sortie reste incertaine depuis son annonce en 2017.

Studio Mir, le célèbre studio sud-coréen derrière des projets comme The Legend of Korra et X-Men '97, gérera la production de cette série passionnante. Marquez vos calendriers - Devil May Cry sera présenté sur Netflix le 3 avril 2025.
